I have organized for abortion liberation through sharing my abortion story for nearly 15 years. Thus, I am no stranger to those who want to silence my voice. I have spoken up about anti-Blackness and racism in the reproductive rights movement and challenged popular pro-choice politicians to do better. Despite different tactics, I’ve always known that my colleagues and I were headed in the same direction: toward liberation and reproductive justice for all oppressed people. Or so I thought.
