WASHINGTON, D.C. — A video board in the North Carolina exhibit at the Great American State Fair on Washington’s National Mall is drawing some unwanted attention Friday by displaying a Confederate flag. The booth has monitors showing the current North Carolina flag, but it also has a flag split between the current one and the Confederate flag. The state of North Carolina decided not to sponsor a booth at the fair, citing expenses, but several companies stepped in to sponsor the exhibit.

Survey finds Roy Cooper continues to hold double digit lead in N.C. Senate race

A new survey finds former North Carolina governor Roy Cooper leading former Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley by double digits in the pivotal Senate race in November. Among likely voters in the Catawba College-YouGov survey released this week Cooper receives 48% compared to Whatley who receives 34%. About 15% of people are undecided. The online survey has a margin of error of 3.8%.

As much as I don't want to hold Itauma back forever, going from Franklin to Hrgovic is too big a step, I agree, although I don't necessarily think it means Hrgovic wins. I'd have given him top 15 guys from now on, no more bums, but Hrgovic is probably like top 5 at the most. A Parker, Zhang, Miller or Chisora type would've been good for him at this stage.
