Traditionally known as abhala bharat or sheesha work, this ancient craft dates back centuries, yet continues to dominate wedding moodboards even today. Strictly artisanal, it typically involves mirror-work laden fabrics and has now made its way onto potlis, earrings and even jackets. A closer look at the handstitched work reveals floral and leaf-like patterns, interspersed with square or round reflectives and patches.
