Let’s talk about summer. It means warmer weather (hopefully anyway), the end of exams and less layers. However, this is Britain after all and whilst we may want to spend our days in the sun wearing vest tops and shorts, the weather might not comply, and we may find ourselves reaching back into the depths of our wardrobes for our hoodies and warmer clothing. The other day I wore a dress out under the impression that the sun would stay out all day, only to return home soaked with rain.

Being sustainable whilst staying fashion conscious can often be very difficult. If we choose sustainability over fashion then, arguably, our wardrobe suffers, for eventually our clothes will become outdated. However, if we pick fashion and buy new clothes, probably via fast fashion brands, then it could be debated whether being environmentally friendly still stands.

No matter the field of work, it’s always great when you see someone being amazing at what they do. It leaves us with the potential to feel inspired knowing that there’s someone out there, at the height of their career, as well as having the thought that perhaps one day (or maybe even now) we will be the ones inspiring others.
