Financial Bid for Air India was submitted by The Tata Group and Ajay Singh, promotor of Spice Jet (in his personal capacity). In a tweet by the Secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management said that the financial bids are received and that the process now will move to conclude stage. The process of acquisition of Air India might be done by the end of this fiscal year. The value of the bid is not yet disclosed.
