Rapid and Direct Detection of Methamphetamine in Biofluids using a MXene‐Enabled Electrochemical Sensor
1 Introduction The abuse of illicit drugs remains a global concern due to its profound threats to public health, social stability, and environmental sustainability [1-3]. According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), worldwide drug consumption continues to rise. Among these substances, amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS) rank as the third most abused class of illicit drugs globally, following cannabis and opioids [4].
Experiences and preferences of people without access to primary care
Primary care is the bedrock of an effective health care system, and greater continuity of care is strongly associated with better health outcomes and lower costs.1-3 Before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, 14.5% of Canadians aged 12 or older reported not having a regular primary care clinician (PCC).4 Workforce and education trends suggest the situation is worsening, with more family doctors retiring,5-7 fewer family doctors offering comprehensive care,6,8 and fewer medical students...

Optimisation Design of Thermal Test System for Metal Fibre Surface Combustion Structure
1. Introduction The hypersonic vehicle inlet, leading edge, wing rudder structure, and other key parts form a complex surface design. In the process of a hypersonic flight, the surface heat load distribution gradient is large. At the same time, due to the flight process, hypersonic vehicles often manoeuvre or ultra-manoeuvre orbit changes, have thermal loads with a high impact rate, and have non-linear characteristics.
Public experiences and perspectives of primary care in Canada: results from a cross-sectional survey
Research over decades has shown that health systems with strong primary care have better health outcomes, better equity in outcomes, and lower costs.1,2 Yet, worldwide, countries have struggled with reforming their primary care systems to meet the demands of a growing, aging population3 in the context of widening socioeconomic inequities,4 increasing medical complexity,5 a rising prevalence of mental health and addictions,6 and a proliferation of medical evidence and guidelines for care.7...

3. Experimental Device and Method 3.1. Experimental Device Figure 8 shows a flow chart of the subsonic high-temperature combustion gas heating (SHCH) test device described in reference [35], which is composed of a combustion gas generator (including an air equalizing chamber, primary combustor, and secondary combustor/mixer), measurement and control system, gas supply system, oil supply system, and cooling system.

Effect of free medicine distribution on ability to make ends meet: post hoc quantitative subgroup analysis and qualitative thematic analysis
Qualitative Of the 616 participants who reported their ability to make ends meet at 12 and 24 months, 227 (36.9 %) participants made optional comments (106/328, 32.3% in the free distribution group and 121/288, 42% in the usual access group). The main theme identified was insufficient income and there were three income-related subthemes: out-of-pocket medication expenses, cost-related non-adherence and the importance of medication coverage.

Sociodemographic differences in patient experience with primary care during COVID-19: results from a cross-sectional survey in Ontario, Canada
Results The survey link was emailed to 32 307 patients at 13 practices (see online supplemental file 2). 7532 patients responded to the survey (23.3% response rate). We present sociodemographic data (table 1) on the 7482 participants who answered one or more questions in the survey in English. Sixty-five per cent of respondents were female (4379/6713) and 78.3% (5159/6588) reported having a college, university or graduate degree.

Long-term effects of rent supplements and mental health support services on housing and health outcomes of homeless adults with mental illness: extension study of the At Home/Chez Soi randomised controlled trial
Summary Background Housing First is increasingly implemented for homeless adults with mental illness in large urban centres, but little is known about its long-term effectiveness. The At Home/Chez Soi randomised controlled trial done in five cities in Canada showed that Housing First improved housing stability and other select health outcomes.
Borderline Intellectual Functioning and Lifetime Duration of Homelessness among Homeless Adults with Mental Illness
