Known as a ‘digital detox’, this conscious break from devices and notifications is becoming more important as our work, social and personal lives shift increasingly online.

“Defying gravity” took on a whole new meaning at the African premiere of Wicked For Good held at Ster-Kinekor Eastgate Mall on 16 November 2025. From the very first scene and note, the production swept us into a kaleidoscope of emerald enchantment, dazzling costumes and voices that soared higher than the skies above Oz. It wasn’t just a movie; it was a spellbinding celebration of resilience, friendship and the power of choosing good even when the world tempts us otherwise.

From 11 to 15 November 2025, South Africa turned its attention to a cause that transcends borders, classrooms and corporate corridors. Anchored by the theme “Power for Good”, this year’s campaign by the Anti-Bullying Alliance urges individuals, schools and workplaces to unite against bullying in all its forms.
