Have you ever used a typewriter?
I used a typewriter in grade school up to my first year in college. I loved the clicking, the sentence return, the space bar.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I love getting the raw data, info, history on a story and then working with the subject on molding the perfect story. Collaboration.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter - it provides news, sports, entertainment in short, concise posts. The reader is given the news and then reacts from there.
Why did you become a journalist?
I am a fan of baseball and strive to promote the game to encourage others to become fans.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Learn how to communicate your message to a wide range of readers. Write copy so the smartest and dumbest person in the room can understand.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
Rolling Stone - their writers are incredible. The depth of stories is infinite.
