A small number of Jews have lived in the Boston area since at least since the 18th century, but it wasn't until around 1880 that much more significant Jewish immigration to Boston began. Many thousands moved to the North End, especially around Salem Street, but in the 1890s, a number also moved to the area of Chinatown. It seems likely that five years later, this same restaurant was mentioned again, with a bit more detail, although the name of the restaurant wasn't provided.

Once Labor Day arrives, many wine shops will stop carrying Rosé until the springtime. Wine distributors will generally stop recommending Rosé to their accounts. You'll stop seeing advertisements for Rosé wine and most wine magazines won't run any Rosé articles.
