Richard Nowak’s Biography

I'm the guy that doesn't Duck around. Just like the Tiger King, I'm dealing with a large amount of large birds that can be dangerous and/or overwhelm volunteers. I have cared for birds for 53 years and been kicked by Emus, bitten by vultures, attacked by geese and scared by parrots. (not lost a finger yet) Bird rescues are also rare if you consider what kind of birds are included in what we do specifically. We have rescued birds from most of the western states including NM,CA,ID,CO,NV,TX and UT.
