Rich is the Seattle Bureau Chief for the Los Angeles Times.

A two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, Rich is a former foreign correspondent who reported in more than 60 countries for The Oregonian newspaper.

Rich won the 1999 Pulitzer for Explanatory Reporting for a series that explained Asia's financial crisis by following a container of french fries from a Northwest farm to a McDonald's in Singapore. He and three other reporters won The Oregonian the 2001 Public Service Pulitzer for exposing abuses…
