Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, retired physician Dr. Richard Edison practiced with Cosmetic Surgery, PA, in Fort Lauderdale for many years. He guided a well-established practice that offers patients throughout south Florida comprehensive aesthetic procedures, from body contouring to breast enhancement. Dr. Richard Edison strove to provide patients with a comfortable setting and engaged collaboratively in developing optimal treatment pathways.
Completing his undergraduate studies at Pomona College in California, Dr. Edison earned his doctor of medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He undertook a general residency in surgery at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Edison subsequently pursued residency training in plastic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina and received Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery certification. He maintains membership in the Broward County Medical Association and the Lipoplasty Society of North America. Dr. Richard Edison enjoys family activities and travel when he has the opportunity.
