We're exposed to news quicker than we were before.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Kermit the Frog.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means that you're able to influence people, and possibly, help someone increase their value of living.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer for stories to match the content of the website, to have as many details as possible, and to come with highest resolution images.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Docs, Grammarly, OmmWriter, Adobe Creative Suite, Quark/Adobe InDesign, iTunes/Apple Music and Skype.
What's your favorite social network?
I like Twitter a lot. I can type whatever is on my mind.

Why did you become a journalist?
More than 10 years ago.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of writing and working on my interview with Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow for MTV IGGY.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
My best advice is to be patient, and to continue to pitch your heart away. Someone will pick up your story and if they don't, you publish it.
When's the best time to pitch you?
The best times to pitch to me is between Monday and Wednesday every week before noon Eastern Time.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch I've ever received was about previewing and promoting the first well-produced documentary about twerking.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I don't remember.
What's your favorite drink?
Water.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Bonding with my mother, spending time with my sister or walking in the park.

The New York Times.

The most common misperception about my beat is that I can only write about music.
