Why did you become a journalist?
Money! Wait... Nah, the topics I was always super passionate about in life became super popular in our culture so everything lined up!
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did! I wrote up articles about how our *non* football team sports were doing really well. (I was the kid with the chip on his shoulder)
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Coverage of the Cyberpunk 2020 RPG and the Judge Dredd and the Worlds of 2000 AD.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Never miss a deadline.
When's the best time to pitch you?
As long as it's by email, doesn't matter when it comes. I'll get it and respond pretty soon!
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The Game Theater company realized I covered LARPs extensively (Live-action-roleplaying games) and invited me out!
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Someone pitched me about a company that prints poster boards at conventions...but kept wanted me to cover them in storytelling articles!
What's your favorite drink?
Old-Fashioned's and Zombies.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Mountain Biking!

Kotaku and a bunch of other political blogs like Daily Kos or The Young Turks. So, gaming and politics really.
