I'm a veteran journalist who has written hundreds of features, many about the music industry, for major newspapers (Gannett, Lee Enterprises), magazines (American West, Las Vegan), various websites, and much more. Was a regular contributor for 11 years to American Songwriter magazine in Nashville. Recipient of the Bronze Quill Award from the International Association of Business Communicators, for excellence in public relations writing. Have written publicity materials for bands and performers as well as songs (am a recorded BMI songwriter and self-publisher), and radio and TV copy as a radio announcer, public affairs talk show host, and TV PSA and talk show spokesman.
