Rick Sterling’s Biography
Former electronics engineer turned journalist, mostly covering international politics and exposing mainstream misinformation about critical hotspots - Syria, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Palestine. Based on eye witness experience and research, I try to reveal what is actually going on in these and other countries that are targets of western media and the political establishment. I also write about international politics and sports, especially the use of doping charges to hobble or eliminate athletes from China and Russia. My research and writing has been published at Anti War, Consortium News, Mint Press, LA Progressive, Sports Integrity Initiative, Al Mayadeen and beyond.
