Plan ahead to avoid the heat in Arnprior

Still needing to stay cool? There are a number of locations one can escape extreme heat in Arnprior, and those include: The Splash Pad at Art Dodds Park (behind the Nick Smith Centre), from 8AM-8PM. The Bert Hall Arena and Community Lounge at the Nick Smith Centre (which has Fee WiFi). The Arnprior and District Museum is open Wednesday – Sunday. The Arnprior Library is open Monday – Saturday.

Arnprior Beaches temporarily closed

Yesterday’s downpour, combined with recent rainfall events in Arnprior, will have a continuing effect as Town staff have closed both McLean Park Breach and the Beach at Robert Simpson Park for clean-up and repair. The two beaches will remain closed until Friday (July 3rd) at 7PM.

While we’ve heard a lot about the closure of Arnprior’s Robert Simpson Park for renovations this summer- (and your patience is appreciated), the good news is that the Guarded Beach at RSP is open for the season, and staffed daily from 11AM-6PM.
