1 Introduction Scleredema adultorum of Buschke is an uncommon self-limiting connective tissue disease of unknown etiology, typically involving a unique clinical presentation of diffuse symmetrical skin induration and swelling that rapidly progresses, extending from the face to the upper back, trunk, and thighs, giving a wooden-like texture to the affected areas. Generalized cases may clinically manifest as edema, erythema, hyperpigmentation, and/or peau d'orange appearance [1].
