What was your first job as a journalist?
I did manual layout at a hyper-local paper after high school and began writing columns for the *Baltimore Jewish Times* in the late 90s.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Ha. Yes. I think it was a hundred years ago. An IBM Selectric with the changeable typeface.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I have the opportunity to amplify the good works that people are doing in the Jewish world and specifically in Israel.
