NCCCS President to Address Grads at Fall Commencement

WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College will celebrate this year’s summer and fall graduates during a Dec. 18 commencement ceremony at the Greenville Convention Center. The program begins at 7 p.m. with N.C. Community College System (NCCCS) President Jeff Cox delivering the graduation address. Due to limited seating, tickets are required to attend. Of the 559 graduates being honored this month, more than 215 are expected to participate in commencement.

Joel Lorenzi @jxlorenzi Per the Thunder, Chet Holmgren suffered a right iliac wing fracture on Sunday night. He's expected to return this season, and a status update will be provided in 8-10 weeks.

Holmgren took a fall in the first quarter after going for a block and was visibly in pain before being helped off the court.
