Tech-enabled adaptability: AI as a competitive leadership advantage
In 2026, senior leaders across the C-suite and finance functions share a common trait: adaptability. This is no longer viewed as a soft skill. It has become a measurable leadership strength shaped by technology and artificial intelligence (AI). The 2026 C Suite Barometer: Executive Leadership Insights in the US and the 2026 Financial Executives Priorities Report both show that executives are confidently moving from experimentation toward active use of AI across operations and strategic planning.
Hot Shows, One Click
Founded in November 2008 by Forrest Nash, a Chicago-based artist and critic, Contemporary Art Daily is a website that features daily selections of exhibitions from around the world. CAD’s emphasis is on the visual, with abundant installation views and images of individual works, accompanied by show dates and-usually-a press release but no critical commentary. With millions of hits since its launch, the site has become a prime resource for the busy art world, and Nash plans to expand it.
Poet, Painter, Performer, Legend
If there is a spiritual shrine in New York City devoted to the downtown art and literary worlds of the past half-century, it exists in a building below Houston Street on the Bowery, in the three lofts owned by poet, performer, painter, and legend John Giorno. Giorno has lived in the building for almost five decades and divides his life among its floors: one for writing; one for painting; and the third, “the bunker,” which originally was home to his longtime friend William S.

5-Minute Journal: Rob Pruitt Opens His Diary for Galerie
Over the course of one week, Pruitt answers three questions each day and shares his entries with Galerie Rob Pruitt. Photo: Courtesy of the artist Since the early 1990s, artist Rob Pruitt has been courting controversy with his painting, sculpture, and installations. Among his most notorious works was 1998’s Cocaine Buffet, in which the artist set up a 16-foot mirror with a line of real cocaine at the center and invited guests to partake in it.
Contemporary Art Hates John Waters
John Waters has been shocking and offending filmgoers since the 1960s. From his gross-out camp manifesto, Pink Flamingos (1972)—starring his audacious muse, the late drag queen Divine—to cult blockbusters such as Hairspray (1988) and Cry-Baby (1990), the irreverent, viciously clever Waters dives head first into the black heart of American culture. For his movies alone, he deserves a place in the pantheon. Then there’s his art.
