Quantification of intervertebral disc degeneration using dual-energy computed tomography collagen maps: a comparative study with MRI Pfirrmann grading
Abstract To determine the correlation between quantitative HU values derived from DECT collagen maps and the MRI-based Pfirrmann grade. We retrospectively reviewed IVDs in patients who underwent both spinal DECT and MRI within one year. CT scans were acquired using single-source DECT at 80 and 135-kVp with automatic exposure control. Three readers scored IVDs according to Pfirrmann et al. on T2-weighted MRI images.
CD19 CAR T cell therapy for treatment-refractory seropositive rheumatoid arthritis: a phase 1 trial
|
Abstract Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell-mediated B cell depletion has demonstrated efficacy in several autoimmune diseases. Here we report clinical and molecular data obtained during the nonrandomized phase 1 part of the phase 1/2 COMPARE trial, evaluating safety and efficacy of mivocabtagene autoleucel (miv-cel), an autologous fully human CD19 CAR T cell therapy, in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Daratumumab in systemic lupus erythematosus: a single-arm phase 2 trial - Nature Communications
Abstract Antibody-secreting cells (ASCs) play a central role in the pathophysiology of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). This single-arm, open-label, phase 2 clinical trial aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the ASC-depleting anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody daratumumab in patients with SLE (NCT04810754). The primary endpoint is the reduction in serum anti-double-stranded DNA (anti-dsDNA) antibody levels at week 12.
Correspondence to: Clinico‐sero‐pathological characteristics of anti‐Ha antisynthetase syndrome
Dear Editor, With great interest, we read the article on the clinico-sero-pathological characteristics of anti-Ha antisynthetase syndrome by Zhao et al. [1]. The authors describe 12 patients with anti-Ha as a single myositis-specific antibody [1]. In light of this manuscript, we would like to add a report and discuss an anti-Ha-positive patient (a 39-years-old female), who was diagnosed and treated at the university hospital Charité Berlin with severe antisynthetase syndrome (ASyS).

Mapping urinary chemokines in human Lupus nephritis: Potentially redundant pathways recruit CD4+ and CD8+ T cells and macrophages
Renal infiltration of inflammatory cells contributes to the pathogenesis of Lupus nephritis (LN). Current knowledge on the recruitment mechanisms relies mainly on findings in rodent models. Here, we assess various chemokine pathways in human LN by comparing urinary chemokine concentrations (in 25 patients with acute LN and in 78 lupus patients without active LN) with the expression of corresponding chemokine receptors on urinary leukocytes (in ten acute LN patients).
