Robert Emery’s Biography

Robert Emery is a Conductor, Pianist, Record Producer, Entrepreneur, and Broadcaster.

He is lucky to perform around the world, conducting the London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, Japanese Philharmonic, British Philharmonic, National Symphony, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien, Basel Symphony, Singapore Lyric, Opera Nova Poland, Australian Metropolitan, Perth Philharmonic, Evergreen Philharmonic and the Central Aichi.

As the worldwide supervisor/conductor, he works with Stewart Copeland (The Police) on the Ben-Hur film concerts, Bat out of Hell (ENO/Toronto), Tanz der Vampire (Berlin), Jonathan Antoine (UK tour), Russell Watson (world tour 2010-2015), National TV Awards (o2 Arena/ITV), Royal Variety Performance (Palladium), Great Festival of Creativity (China), Zorro, the broadway film A Tale of Two Cities, Betwixt and Plague Songs with Damon Albarn - all in the West-End. He is also a specialist in fusing rock/pop bands with symphony orchestras, having done this for ten years in fourteen countries.

Emery recently composed the musical ‘The Last Witch’, which premiered in a purpose-built theatre in Switzerland. He also produced the albums ‘Stars Are Rising’ and ‘The Rhythm of Life’ for Joanna Forest - where he was the first producer to take a debut album from a debut artist on an independent record label straight to number one in the charts.

As a producer, he has worked on Russell Watson ‘Anthems’, ‘Only One Man' and ‘Return of the Voice, Live from the Royal Albert Hall’; Carly Paoli’s ‘Singing My Dreams’, soul rock artist Seven ‘The Art is King’ and ‘4Colors’, the Voice winner Angie Ott ‘Every Second’ and Olga Thomas’ ‘Royal Platinum Love Song’ - commissioned to celebrate the platinum wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh.

Emery runs The Arts Group, which consists of the UK’s largest music tuition service, Arts Academy; a live-event company, Arts Festivals; an orchestra and choir, Arts Symphonic/Arts Voices; a talent agency, Arts Associates; a lighting and sound business, Arts Solutions; an indi-record label, Arts Records; and a digital media business, Arts Productions.
