Robert Kidd
VerifiedRobert Kidd’s Biography
I’m an award-winning freelance journalist with a talent for uncovering and telling engaging and compelling stories.
After starting my journalism career at News Corporation metropolitan daily newspaper The Courier-Mail in Australia, I have written about everything from the lives of some of the world's wealthiest people, to cutting-edge research helping the world’s poorest.
As a freelancer, I report on everything from travel and sport to business and science. I've reported from the world’s craziest bike race and the frontline of a tomato-throwing battle. I’ve described tracking gorillas in Rwanda and stargazing in Chile. I’ve written for publications including BBC Sport, Forbes, The Independent, The Australian, SBS, QWeekend magazine and New Scientist.
I am currently based in Valencia, Spain. Samples of my work are available here: www.robertkidd.net
