According to Marca, Barcelona sporting director Deco is preparing a shortlist of striker options if a deal for Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez fails to materialise. The Catalan giants have lined up Manchester United’s Benjamin Sesko, Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy and Levante’s Karl Etta Eyong as contingencies. Despite his struggles at the start, Sesko found his groove in the second half of the last season, managing a total of 11 goals in the Premier League.
