One of the web's original travel bloggers, Robert Schrader has been informing, inspiring, entertaining and empowering travelers for more than 15 years. He's been to more than 100 countries, though in recently years has focused deeply on a few (Japan, Thailand, Taiwan). What was your first job as a journalist?

I wrote about my (former) favorite singer Tori Amos for the biggest fanzine dedicated to her.
