I was a Swiss exchange student with AFS, fresh from my tiny Alpine village of Airolo, dropped straight into the Santa Fe Indian School (SFIS) — the home of the Braves, and a boarding school.

He has had a glorious diplomatic career spanning many decades in many countries. He speaks many languages, and few people have a more nuanced view on geopolitics than Gary.
