BEXAR COUNTY – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is seeking charges in connection with the drowning death of a 2-year-old boy at a north Bexar County pool. According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Malachi LeBlanc died four days after the incident on Aug. 5. His death was ruled an accident. The boy’s parents, Grace and Myron LeBlanc, told KSAT the drowning was a tragic incident involving someone they trusted to care for their children.

Jurors reached the not-guilty verdict for Daniel Gonzalez in Bexar County’s 399th Criminal District Court. Gonzalez was previously accused of murder in connection with the death of Donnell Sterling in October 2024 at Victoria Plaza, a downtown apartment complex.
