An East Orange couple known for scaling some of the world’s tallest structures were released under supervision Thursday after being arrested for climbing the Empire State Building’s spire. According to the New York Police Department, Ivan Kuznetsov, 32, and Angela Nikolau, 33, both of Lawrence Street in East Orange, were arrested after climbing onto the building’s antenna around noon Wednesday.

Essex County and Montclair law enforcement busted an alleged drug ring run out of Montclair and West Orange, seizing a haul of illicit drugs that included more than 600 suspected ecstasy pills and arresting two men they say sold the drugs. Officers from the Essex County Sheriff’s Office and Montclair Police Department arrested Jason Granderson, 49, at his West Orange home on Wednesday, the result of a month-long investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
