1 Introduction Prostate cancer (PC) is the most prevalent cancer in men worldwide, with 1,276,000 new cases reported worldwide in 2018. Despite this high incidence, it ranks as the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths with 359,000 deaths in 2018 [1]. The median age at diagnosis is 69 years. This disease exhibits varying prognoses, with some patients having indolent cancer while others facing a highly aggressive form.
