What does it mean to be a journalist?

It means curbing your personal biases while you do your best to ferret out the truth by writing/producing stories that are fair & accurate

Why did you become a journalist?

I always considered journalism a critical element of any democracy. Without responsible and truthful journalism we are doomed.
