About NRL Our History Our Collection Our Collection The National Rollball League (NRL) was founded in 1993 as the National Roller League Association (NRLA) with two teams - Atlanta BIZ & Marietta SPROUTS. The league took on its current name the National Rollball League in 1994 before its first Official SUPER ROLL exhibition game sponsored by AT&T, Coca Cola & Delta.

The Inventor Rollball Acroneticist Acroneticist Ronnie C. Wright invented Rollball, in 1993 and Wilson Sporting Goods Company developed Wright’s Rollball the following year. 1995 Wright launched SUPER ROLL as the Official Championship of the NRL, 1st sponsored by AT&T & Coca Cola, in Atlanta, Georgia. Former Atlanta Mayor Maynard H. Jackson was the 1st investor in the development of Rollball, the NRL National Roller League & Super Roll.
