2.1. Translation and Cross-Cultural Adaptation Process Before beginning the translation and cross-cultural adaptation, the authors contacted Professor Genelle Healey, the head of the research team responsible for developing the DFI–FFQ, who granted permission for its use in the present study. Figure 1 outlines the six steps involved the translation and cross-cultural adaptation process, according to a validated algorithm [17,18].
