The American Negro, by Adrian Younge
Record/Vinyl + Digital Album The American Negro is an unapologetic critique, detailing the systemic and malevolent psychology that afflicts people of color. This project dissects the chemistry behind blind racism, using music as the medium to restore dignity and self-worth to my people. It should be evident that any examination of black music is an examination of the relationship between black and white America.

What are the benefits of writing vector inner products as $\langle u, v\rangle$ as opposed to $u^T v$?
61 $\begingroup$ In a lot of computational math, operations research, such as algorithm design for optimization problems and the like, authors like to use $$\langle \cdot, \cdot \rangle$$ as opposed to $$(\cdot)^T (\cdot)$$ Even when the space is clearly Euclidean and the operation is clearly the dot product. What is the benefit or advantage for doing so? Is it so that the notations generalize nicely to other spaces? Update: Thank you for all the great answers! Will take a while to process...

Ubiquity by Roy Ayers
9 Songs, 39 Minutes EDITORS’ NOTES With Ubiquity, Ayers explored the limits of his sound and the full range of his taste in material. His boldest maneuver was to feed his vibraphone through a distortion pedal. The sounds on “Pretty Brown Skin” and “The Fuzz” were enough to send traditional jazz critics running for the hills. In retrospect, it sounds amazing—something of a cross between a really dirty clavinet and Jimi Hendrix’s unruly Stratocaster.

Warner Jazz
To a whole generation of listeners, the name Atlantic actually means Atlantic Jazz. From the mid-1950s, the label founded in 1947 by Ahmet Ertegun and Herb Abramson started a separate series to embrace what was then called “modern jazz”. Joined by Ahmet’s brother Neshui in 1955, they brought the label into the 12-inch LP market, and built up a whole new roster.
