Body-wide multi-omic counteraction of aging with GLP-1R agonism
Main text (Cell Metabolism 37, 2362–2380.e1–e8; December 2, 2025) Following publication, Steve Horvath and colleagues at the Clock Foundation alerted us to a platemap error in the DNA methylation (DNAm) data. Our investigation pinpointed the potential source of this error. We provided samples on 96-well plates in a row-wise orientation instead of the column-wise orientation specified in the Clock Foundation’s protocol.

Commentary: Will we ever see an HIV vaccine?
SINGAPORE: In April 1984, after it was announced that researchers had discovered HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, then US Secretary of Health and Human Services Margaret Heckler made a bold prediction - that a vaccine would be available “in about two years”. Forty years later, an HIV vaccine remains elusive. This is especially frustrating seeing as it took scientists less than one year to develop the COVID-19 vaccines.

Using qualitative and community-based engagement approaches to gain access and to develop a culturally appropriate STI prevention intervention for foreign female entertainment workers in Singapore
Female sex workers (FSWs) are a diverse population operating in different settings such as brothels, streets, online sex forums and entertainment establishments (EEs) [1]. EEs are karaoke lounges, bars, pubs, nightclubs and discotheques providing entertainment activities such as singing, dancing and social drinking [2]. Female entertainment workers (FEWs) working in EEs are often indirect sex workers who sell sex in the EEs to supplement their income [3, 4].
SPC issued two interpretations regarding the judicial review of arbitration cases
In December 2017, Supreme People Court of China (SPC) issued two long-awaited judicial interpretations (each "Interpretation No. 21" and "Interpretation No. 22"), effective on 1 January 2018, to regulate the judicial review procedures and the approval mechanism for both the domestic and foreign-related arbitrations. The releases of the two interpretations signify China's further movement toward a pro-arbitration regime.

“Batman v Superman” is ambitious but confused
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” features a very distinctive treatment from Zach Snyder, director of “300” and “Man of Steel.” He directs the film as if it was intended to be a dark epic, but also as a two-and-a-half-hour prologue to the upcoming Justice League movie. The movie aims for, and at some points did reach, the grand nature of Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight,” but could not always maintain this focus and substance.
“Get Hard:” Offensive, but funny
Offensive? Definitely. Homophobic and racist? Check. Prison rape? Mentioned every 30 seconds. But is the movie hilarious? Oh, yes it is, very much so. “Get Hard” will not garner stellar critical reviews due to its crude and sometimes cringe-worthy humor that so very often walks the tight rope of attempted satire. First time director Etan Cohen—a comedy writer for films like “Tropic Thunder” and “Idiocracy”—carefully infuses “Get Hard” with exaggerated American stereotypes and blatant class inequality.
A conversation with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart
How would you prepare for prison? That’s the dilemma James King (Will Ferrell) finds himself in, in the new film, “Get Hard.” King feels absolutely unprepared to his coming 10-year sentence after being convicted of tax evasion. He hires his friend, Darnell Lewis (Kevin Hart)—whom James wrongly assumes has been to prison—to teach him how to survive life behind bars.
