Bifunctional Chlorhexidine-Based Covalent Organic Polymers for CO2 Capture and Conversion without Co-catalyst
Bifunctional Chlorhexidine-Based Covalent Organic Polymers for CO2 Capture and Conversion without Co-catalyst Two new cobalt/zinc-coordinated bifunctional covalent organic polymers (COP-Co and COP-Zn) based on chlorhexidine are prepared as heterogeneous catalysts for carbon dioxide (CO2) conversion. Due to the Cl− nucleophile and cobalt/zinc Lewis acid sites, COP-Co and COP-Zn can efficiently convert CO2 and epoxides into cyclic carbonates under mild conditions without co-catalyst.
Rh (III)-catalyzed C(sp2)-H functionalization/cyclization cascade of N-carboxamide indole and iodonium reagent for access to indoloquinazolinone derivatives
Rh (III)-catalyzed C(sp2)-H functionalization/cyclization cascade of N-carboxamide indole and iodonium reagent for access to indoloquinazolinone derivatives Rhodium-catalyzed synthesis of indoloquinazoline from readily available hypervalent iodonium reagent and N-carboxamide indole was developed. The protocol features broad functional group tolerance, mild conditions, excellent yields and simple workup. Notably, the noble metal catalyst can be recycled effectively at least ten times.
