William James,Sr., a proud South Philadelphia native, lived a life defined by love for his family, unwavering devotion to his son, and a determination to become the best version of himself. He was affectionately known as “Bonnie”—a nickname whose origin remained a mystery even to those who loved him most. William was born on December 15, 1982, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended St. Charles School and Audenried High School.

Long after her son was too old to fit comfortably beside her, Braiheen David Anthony Jamison Sr. still had one childhood habit he never outgrew. Whenever he got sick, no matter how old or how big he had become, he would sneak into bed with his mother, Wendy Jamison, looking for the same comfort he had relied on as a little boy. “Whenever Braiheen was sick, he would come and climb into bed with me, saying, ‘Mom, I don’t feel well,’” Wendy recalled with a laugh.

For Felix Pabon, the lure of the streets was so strong that spent much his time mixed into that world, but Sundays were always reserved for family. Those who knew Felix knew how important family moments were to him. “Felix enjoyed life in his own way,” his sister Evelyn said. “He loved cars, riding dirt bikes, and playing basketball. He also enjoyed listening to music and spending time socializing with friends.” Beneath his tough exterior was a generous and compassionate heart.
