1 Introduction Mangroves, as representative intertidal ecosystems in tropical and subtropical regions, exhibit exceptional carbon sequestration capacity (DeYoe et al. 2020; Alongi 2012). They efficiently accumulate and store large amounts of organic carbon within relatively limited spatial areas (Kusumaningtyas et al. 2019), playing an irreplaceable role in regulating the global carbon cycle and mitigating climate change (Alongi 2020).
