Simpson Thacher represented BC Partners Credit, the private credit arm of BC Partners, in the establishment and final close of its flagship Special Opportunities Fund (“SOF III” or the "Fund”), which secured $1.4 billion in investable capital and surpassed its original target. SOF III is approximately 20% larger than its predecessor fund, SOF II, and is BC Partners’ largest Special Opportunities Credit Fund to date.
