Yes. I also own an old manual typewriter that I've never used.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I was proud of my coverage of small businesses during the pandemic and the challenges facing U.S. manufacturers.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

There is no such thing as a stupid question.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

In my garden.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

Businesses I write about help shed light on broader themes or issues. Coverage by other media isn't a reason for a story.
