What was your first job as a journalist?

To cover a high school play.

How is social media changing news?

Increased availability to generate news and utilize various mediums.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

A pen and paper, along with a smartphone and computer.

What's your favorite social network?

It is almost a tie between Facebook and Twitter. Twitter can cover breaking news, but FB has a curated collection with additional features.

Who do you wish followed you?

Ford's Theatre

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I wrote articles and gathered content.

What's your favorite drink?

Water.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Near my camera. I use my DSLR for major projects, as the photo quality for many smartphones has improved over the past several years.
