The Wood County Hospital Foundation has announced a $7.5 million capital campaign to replace critical radiation therapy equipment and hire more doctors. The announcement was made at the hospital during its 75th anniversary ceremony Thursday.

A local real estate development company hopes to bring new life to a Toledo warehouse building while honoring its industrial roots. On Thursday, the Toledo City Plan Commission unanimously approved a local landmark designation for the Dura Building at 4500 N. Detroit Ave. The designation will help the building’s owner, IBC Inc., qualify for state and federal historic tax credits, said Julie Apt, with Thomas Porter Architects.
