Jaguars president: 'Natural' to play all 2028 home games in Jacksonville.
LONDON — Ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars' 16th game abroad, team president Mark Lamping said it is "natural" to believe the team will play all of their 2028 games at their renovated stadium. "If there's a natural year where you probably want to play every home game in Jacksonville, it would be the year you open a new stadium," Lamping said during a 30-minute interview with the three Jacksonville media outlets that traveled to London to cover the Jaguars' two games.

Should Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker have more sacks for Jaguars?
WATFORD, England — Jacksonville Jaguars defensive ends Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker got off to the kind of pass-rushing start that created a lofty standard and even loftier expectations. The duo combined for 2 1/2 sacks, one knockdown and four pressures in Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns. But since then? Plenty of close calls, but only a combined half sack (by Walker in Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles).

WATFORD, England — In a span of 12 hours on Oct. 11, Jacob Bobenmoyer went from camping with his kids in Colorado to boarding a flight to London to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad. Win at Wembley would propel Jaguars to new level, dent Texans' hopes
A Wembley win would improve Jaguars to 5-1 and drop the Texans to 1-5 and dent their flickering playoff hopes. WATFORD, England — Hardly anything in the NFL is simple and straightforward. Injuries happen. Same for a rash of penalties. Ditto for playing similarly talented teams. Every week is a different kind of maze to navigate. Except this week for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Beat the Houston Texans at Wembley Stadium on Oct.
Running back Bhayshul Tuten rewarding Jaguars' faith with strong start
The Jaguars are being rewarded for having belief that Bhayshul Tuten could be a featured part of their offense. Bhayshul Tuten didn’t need to hear from his head coach or any of his Jacksonville Jaguars teammates that March afternoon when Travis Etienne agreed to sign with the New Orleans Saints. Following a rookie season in which he showed flashes in general and particularly in the playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills, Tuten knew what it meant. “It was time to go,” he said.
Jaguars coach Liam Coen points finger at self for too many penalties
WATFORD, England — Jacksonville Jaguars coach Liam Coen can — and will do — better. That was his message to offensive players and assistant coaches on Oct. 12, a day after the Jaguars beat the Philadelphia Eagles 19-17 despite the unit's 10 penalties, including three for delay of game. See why the Jaguars players like working with/playing for Coen so much? He wants them to be accountable so he will be, too. He wants them to grind away on their mistakes so he will, too.

Jaguars asst. Heath Farwell on win over Eagles: 'Why I love this game'
WATFORD, England — Combining his 114 games as a player and 10-plus years as an assistant coach, Heath Farwell is nearing 300 games of NFL experience. But none can match what happened from a start-to-finish special teams perspective in the Jacksonville Jaguars' 19-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 11. "Never," Farwell laughed during our phone interview.

Big plays help Liam Coen overcome lackluster day in Jaguars win
Coach Liam Coen's team struggled with penalties, red zone execution, and questionable play-calling throughout the game. A 53-yard kick return by Ameer Abdullah with one second left set up the game-winning field goal by Cam Little. Despite the win, the Jaguars' performance was marked by self-inflicted errors and missed opportunities.
'Phenomenal job' by DaVon Hamilton stepping in as Jaguars' long snapper
Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton was called up on for the second time in a year to be the Jaguars' fill-in long snapper. Jaguars hold practice just hours after early arrival in London
The Jaguars landed in London early Friday morning and the agenda was sleep, but not until after practice. WATFORD, England — Bleary-eyed but still energetic, the Jacksonville Jaguars started their two-game, 10-day overseas trip with a lighter-than-usual practice on Oct. 9, about 48 hours before facing the Philadelphia Eagles. The second goal: Stay up as long as possible.
Passports, time change, sleep patterns part of Jaguars' London Experience
WATFORD, England — Seventeen hours after locking the door in my Jacksonville home, I accepted a hotel room key card in this city northwest of London and a few miles from where the Jacksonville Jaguars will set up their headquarters for 10 days. Everything will be different for the Jaguars ahead of their games against the Philadelphia Eagles (Oct. 11) and Houston Texans (Oct. 18). The five-hour time change, which hits you over the head with a shovel.

Jaguars needed CBs. Their first question: 'Do you have a passport?'
Jacksonville Jaguars coach Liam Coen emphasized the need for mental toughness to overcome travel and routine disruptions. • The team quickly signed cornerbacks Alijah Huzzie and Jaylon Jones, both of who had access to their passports. • For rookie receiver CJ Williams, this is his first time traveling outside of the United States.
Brenton Strange's career-best yardage day, rush defense highlight Jags win
A six-pack of thoughts about the 3-1 Jacksonville Jaguars: 1. Survive the road, get on plane When your opponent loses their best receiver, you need to win that game regardless of how it looks. Once the Cincinnati Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase (concussion) departed after linebacker Ventrell Miller’s hit, the Jaguars needed to seize on the opportunity in Cincinnati unlike they did in September 2025 after quarterback Joe Burrow was injured. The Jaguars led 13-3 at Denver in Week 2 and lost 20-13.
Why it's important Jaguars got Chris Rodriguez Jr. going in Week 3
Trevor Lawrence taking a knee at the New England Patriots’ 1-yard line meant it should have been time for short-yardage/goal-line back Chris Rodriguez Jr. to re-enter the game for his second touchdown of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ eventual 35-6 win on Sept. 27. But Rodriguez had another idea. “How many TDs do you have?” Rodriguez asked teammate Bhayshul Tuten. And with that, Rodriguez suggested to the Jaguars coaches to give Tuten the first opportunity to score. “You’ve got one try,” they told Tuten.
Clemson Clash: Dexter Lawrence looks to take down Trevor Lawrence
Center Robert Hainsey knows what he is up against. "He's a great player," he said. Same for running back LeQuint Allen Jr. "He's a game wrecker," he said. And ditto for right guard Ezra Cleveland. "He's a blend of everything," he said. "He" and "him" is Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, a two-time second team All Pro selection who was acquired from the New York Giants in April for a first-round draft pick. Block Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars will beat the Bengals on Oct.
So far, so mostly good for Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence during 2-1 start
If the worst thing you can say about Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is he showed a stunning lack of clock awareness by taking a knee at the New England Patriots' 1-yard line while holding a 22-point lead with nearly nine minutes remaining, then you know he was otherwise locked in. "Probably wasn't the best decision," he would say after the 35-6 win on Sept. 28. Save for his two interceptions, Lawrence has been on point with his decision making during the Jaguars' 2-1 start.

Tuten, Strange, Meyers take starring offensive roles in Jaguars win
JACKSONVILLE — Find more targets for Brenton Strange. Expand the workload for Bhayshul Tuten. And re-introduce Jakobi Meyers. That represented the Jacksonville Jaguars' major external non-Travis Hunter talking points exiting their Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos and entering their Week 3 game against the New England Patriots. Turns out, they were discussed internally, too.

Look out, SEC, Florida football is back after rout of Ole Miss
GAINESVILLE — So that was what Will Muschamp and Jim McElwain and Dan Mullen and Billy Napier wanted Florida to look like. A crowd operating at full throttle for nearly four hours. An offense resembling an unstoppable train of physicality and speed. An opportunistic-at-the-right-time defense. And star power all over the field. Jaguars' Liam Coen, Antonio Johnson turn frustration into teaching moment
Updated Sept. 26, 2026, 10:16 a.m. ET Jaguars coach Liam Coen met with safety Antonio Johnson to review his performance in the loss to the Broncos. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel noted Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has become more decisive and less prone to turnovers. The Jaguars are favored over the Patriots for only the fifth time in the history of their matchups.
Florida's offense up to task against Ole Miss, but is the defense?
Only three games into coach Jon Sumrall's tenure, Florida re-entered the rankings at No. 21 after its win at Auburn on Sept. 19. Cause for acknowledgement? Kind of. "I did talk to our team about (how) rankings in Week 4 mean nothing," Sumrall said during his press conference on Sept. 21. "I told our guys, 'Ignore all that.' The goal is how do we get to 1-0 each week." So far, the Gators have passed all three of their "1-0 tests," defeating Florida Atlantic, Campbell and Auburn.

Jaguars doing right thing by not handing Travis Hunter full-time duty
Ready for two unpopular Travis Hunter opinions, two unpopular opinions that have clearly become fact during the Jacksonville Jaguars’ first two games? Maybe Hunter isn’t good enough at cornerback to be an every-play option instead of Buster Brown and Jarrian Jones.

Jaguars Day After: Reviewing 20-13 loss to Broncos Original
The Jaguars' offense scored only 13 points against Denver, the third-lowest total under coach Liam Coen. Jacksonville's defense failed to record a sack for only the third time since the start of the 2025 season. Offensive linemen Anton Harrison and Emmanuel Pregnon have played every snap through the first two games. Welcome to a new idea I am trying to cook up to help analyze Jaguars games instead of just clogging up my X (formerly Twitter) feed with bits of information: Jaguars Day After.
Going deeper into Jaguars numbers after loss to Broncos: No pass rush?

Broncos score 17 unanswered, beat Jaguars in Denver. How it unfolded

After productive debut, Jaguars' pass rush skunked in loss to Denver
Sept. 21, 2026, 12:21 p.m. ET The Jacksonville Jaguars' pass rush disappeared in their 20-13 loss to the Denver Broncos after a strong season debut. After recording five sacks in Week 1, the Jaguars had zero sacks and only eight total "disruptions" against the Broncos. Jaguars defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile increased blitzing in the second half, but it was not enough to secure a win. DENVER — Say this for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ pass rush through two games: There is no in-between.

Almost everyone with Jaguars contributed to late crumble in Denver
DENVER — So many times during their nine-game regular-season winning streak bridging the last part of 2025 and the first part of 2026, the Jacksonville Jaguars majored in pounding the figurative gas pedal to the floor and keeping it there. Led the second Indianapolis game 20-17 and won 23-17. The Jaguars maintained maximum effort and top-flight execution and focus. They didn’t give their opponents hope. They didn’t get comfortable.
Late interception, missed field goal, punt spell doom for Jaguars Original
Sept. 20, 2026, 9:48 p.m. ET The Jacksonville Jaguars lost 20-13 to the Denver Broncos after leading 13-3 in the third quarter. Jacksonville's offense failed to score in its final three possessions, ending with an interception, a missed field goal, and a punt. The Jaguars' defense allowed the Broncos to score 17 unanswered points to close out the game.
Why Trevor Lawrence keeps crossing the line (of scrimmage) so much?
Imagine how effective Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence would be if he didn’t throw the football after crossing the line of scrimmage. Lawrence was called for his third career illegal forward pass last week against Cleveland and all three have been in the last 18 games. He was flagged at Cincinnati and against Kansas City last year. Lawrence had no such penalties in his first 73 regular season/playoff games.
Trevor Lawrence crossing line (of scrimmage) with too much frequency Original
Sept. 19, 2026, 5:04 a.m. ET Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been penalized for three illegal forward passes in his last 18 games. Undrafted rookie Bryan Thomas Jr. will have an opportunity to play following an injury to defensive end BJ Green. Linebacker Jack Kiser has been elevated to the active roster after sustaining a knee injury on the first day of training camp.
Look out Denver, the 'smaller market' Jaguars are coming back to town! Original
Sept. 17, 2026, 9:44 a.m. ET A past comment from Broncos coach Sean Payton calling Jacksonville a "smaller market" became a rallying cry. The Jaguars defeated the Broncos 34-20 last Decemer to end Denver's 11-game winning streak. Coen and Payton have since discussed the comment, with Coen expressing his professional respect for Payton. A long time ago, the Kansas 2A boys basketball tournament arrived on the Kansas State campus and I was a student covering it for The Topeka Capital-Journal.
