Abstract Our research described here aimed to address the challenges associated with the clinical utility of allyl isothiocyanate (AITC), a naturally derived compound with potent anticancer properties, by overcoming its poor aqueous solubility, limited dissolution, and poor bioavailability. A sodium caseinate (SC)-based nanocarrier system (SC-NPs) was developed to improve the delivery and therapeutic efficacy of AITC.
