Pooled analysis of drug-related interstitial lung disease and/or pneumonitis in nine trastuzumab deruxtecan monotherapy studies☆
Study-specific guidelines for monitoring, evaluating, and managing ILD/pneumonitis in T-DXd clinical trials, including dose modification and supportive care recommendations, were updated in 2019 (Table 1) with more specific details regarding dosages and duration of steroid treatment, including for grade 1 events, than previous guidelines. , , The approved labels for T-DXd also include warnings regarding ILD/pneumonitis and guidelines for its management.
Fine structure in the odd-odd proton emitter $^{144}\mathrm{Tm}$
Abstract Axial symmetry breaking in Tm144 is probed by examining its proton emission fine structure. The ground-state spin and parity in Tm144 and daughter Er143 are assigned unambiguously based on the corroboration of our calculations with the present data. We establish the first microscopic description of fine structure in odd-odd proton emitters, which is capable of resolving ambiguities present in the assignments of transitions in such nuclei.
Absence of clinical benefit of FDG PET-CT in staging T1 part-solid lung adenocarcinoma
Highlights • FDG PET-CT has very low clinical benefit in staging T1 subsolid lung adenocarcinoma. • FDG PET-CT likely has very poor cost effectiveness in staging T1 subsolid NSCLC. • Guidelines advising FDG PET-CT for staging all curable NSCLC should be reviewed.
M153 DASATINIB THERAPY AND HYPOGAMMAGLOBULINEMIA
Non-receptor SRC family kinases are critical for B-cell receptor signal transduction. Dasatinib, an SRC family kinase inhibitor used for the treatment of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), can interfere with this critical step of B-cell activation. We present the case of a patient on chronic dasatinib for B-cell. ALL who developed a common variable immunodeficiency (CVID)-like phenotype.
A Randomized Trial Comparing Antibiotics with Appendectomy for Appendicitis
Population Figure 1. Table 1. From May 3, 2016, through February 5, 2020, a total of 8168 patients underwent screening, of whom 1589 (19%) were ineligible for enrollment in the trial for clinical or appendicitis-related reasons (Figure 1). A total of 1552 participants (31% of the patients who were eligible) underwent randomization; 776 were assigned to receive antibiotics, and 776 to undergo appendectomy (Table S2).
A phase I study evaluating DLYE5953A, an antibody-drug conjugate targeting the tumor-associated antigen lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus E (Ly6E), in patients (Pts) with solid tumors
Background: Ly6E is over-expressed in breast, lung, and pancreatic cancers. DLYE5953A is a humanized IgG1 anti-Ly6E monoclonal antibody conjugated to the potent anti-mitotic agent monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE), linked through the protease-labile linker MC-vc-PAB. DLYE5953A has the potential to selectively target Ly6E-expressing cancers.
