Abstract Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (FDCS) is a rare, low- to intermediate-grade malignancy arising from mesenchymal-derived follicular dendritic cells, which can also present with high-grade pathological features and may rapidly become fatal.

1 Introduction Kartagener's syndrome is a rare, inherited autosomal recessive disorder characterised by primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) resulting in impaired mucociliary clearance and situs inversus. It is typically characterised by a triad of chronic sinusitis, bronchiectasis and situs inversus. Common symptoms are chronic recurrent rhinosinusitis, bronchiectasis, otitis media and recurrent pneumonias. Its incidence rate has been estimated to be approximately 1 in 30,000 births [1].

1 Introduction Hepatic herniation into the thoracic cavity is a rare condition typically linked to trauma, surgery, or congenital defects and may mimic pulmonary malignancies on imaging. In asymptomatic patients, hernias are often discovered incidentally. We describe an unusual case of a right-sided diaphragmatic hepatic hernia in a 65-year-old woman, discovered during routine lung cancer screening and initially suspected to represent a pulmonary malignancy.
