BEAUFORT, S.C. - Weight-loss drugs are now easier to get than ever, including in pill form, but doctors in the Lowcountry say that accessibility comes with new concerns. GLP-1 drugs have gone from a niche diabetes treatment to a household weight-loss name. But physicians at Beaufort Memorial say they are not a magic fix. "They're a fabulous class of medication," said Dr. Yvette-Marie Pellegrino, a physician at Beaufort Memorial Lady's Island Internal Medicine.

Lowcountry responders warn of more golf cart crashes
