Vincetoxicum andamanicum is described as a new species from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India, and assessment of its conservation status. This species exhibits a close resemblance to Vincetoxicum indicum (Burm.f.) Mabb. and V. fasciculatum (Buch.-Ham. ex Wight) Kuntze in habit, phyllotaxy, morphological features, and fruit type. However, this new species differs from previously known Vincetoxicum species in vegetative morphology, inflorescence architecture and floral characters.
