1 Introduction Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is a prevalent condition with significant morbidity. Alcohol consumption, which is prevalent amongst Australian residents, is a well-established modifiable factor known to increase OSA severity [1-3]. With the increasing use of home-based sleep studies for OSA diagnosis, alcohol use may significantly confound findings, complicating the clinical application of study results.
