Delta Raises 2026 Fuel-Cost Estimate to $6 Billion, Cuts Earnings Outlook
Delta Air Lines’ latest results show a widening gap between strong travel revenue and the cost of flying. It posted record adjusted revenue for the September quarter, yet cut its 2026 earnings range from the forecast it gave in July after its fuel-cost outlook worsened.
